Work
Sr. Staff Software Engineer
Working on DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, and Microservice/Serverless development for the Trend Micro Cloud One - Network Security service.
-
Created the AWS cloud infrastructure for a multi-stage, multi-regional cloud security service using Terraform and CloudFormation.
-
Created repository templates, pipelines, and automation to allow dev teams to easily create and deploy new Serverless applications into our cloud service.
-
Created CI/CD pipelines to automate seamless deployment of infrastructure and application updates using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
Worked on management and core functionalities in Trend Micro's TippingPoint Threat Protection System.
-
Updated and patched a customized Linux OS and applications for FIPS compliance.
Worked on User Identification, Authentication, and Authorization in Cisco’s Next Generation Firewall products.
-
Developed software to synchronize with LDAP and Active Directory services, and perform authentication of users via mechanisms such as Basic Auth, NTLM, and Kerberos, as well as implementing traffic authorization based on IP mapped user identities.
-
Created a library to perform Kerberos Authentication. This library was incorporated into the official product, replacing a faulty third party library, which saved the company a large sum of money in licensing.
-
Prototyped a rewrite of the product’s C/C++ build code using CMake, which yielded a build speed of 5 times faster, reduced inter-module dependencies, and decreased the complexity of module’s individual build files.
-
Constructed a temporary CI/CD pipeline for my team using Jenkins and Bitbucket. This pipeline synchronized the main CVS repository to a private Git repository, utilized automated builds/tests from Jenkins, and the GitFlow workflow, which isolated my team from frequent build failures during a high priority release.
Embedded Software Engineer
Worked on the JSF F-35 Lightning II Sensor Fusion program.
-
Programmed software for the Sensor Scheduling component of the program, which involved writing code
for a real-time operating system to prioritize and schedule sensor resources to optimize target
identification in the jet’s environment.
-
Developed a testing tool to read and compare flight data, and present a user with a human readable output of the anomalies and errors from sensor resources.
Worked on an iPhone app with a small group of OU undergraduates. The app was an
audio/location based social app that allowed users to record and share a 30 second audio clip
tagged to a location.

Planned and facilitated club meetings that focused on learning the basics of
programming and software development in a fun and welcoming atmosphere.
The club members then used these skills to collaboratively plan, design, and code a project of
their choosing: The PfGWC Avatar Maker! pfgirlswhocode.github.io/avatar-creator/
Created and currently maintaining the GALT-Central Texas website
(source code at GitHub),
as well as setup and administering the organization's G Suite, and Slack accounts.
My family and I have been fostering Greyhounds in our homes since 2012.
We are in love with the breed and love finding great homes for them! ❤ 🐾
